Fantasy Football Preview: Miami Dolphins

<p><a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;incrediblemag&period;com&sol;fantasy-football-preview-miami-dolphins&sol;fantasy-football-preview-miami-dolphins&sol;" rel&equals;"attachment wp-att-661"><img class&equals;"alignright" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;incrediblemag&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;09&sol;Fantasy-Football-Preview-Miami-Dolphins-300x166&period;png" alt&equals;"Fantasy Football Preview Miami Dolphins" width&equals;"300" height&equals;"166" &sol;><&sol;a>Whether you participate in fantasy football money leagues&comma; or play fantasy football for free&comma; you need to know how your favorite players stack up&period; You do not want to get stuck with a bunch of lemons&comma; after all&comma; or have players who are chronically injured&period; You also do not want to pick players who will start out great&comma; but end up disappointing you&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So it is a good idea&comma; when you are getting ready for fantasy football&comma; to check out what each team is doing&period; With that in mind&comma; here is a look at how the Miami Dolphins look when it comes to fantasy football money leagues and free league drafts&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Mike Wallace&comma; WR<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Wallace had 1&comma;257 yards with 21&period;0&sol;yards per reception and 10 TDs in 2010 and put up numbers almost as good in 2011&comma; but only had 836 yards for 13&period;1 yards per reception in 2012&comma; though he did have eight TDs&comma; his third straight season with at least that number&period; In the offseason&comma; Wallace signed a five-year&comma; &dollar;65 million contract with the Dolphins&comma; but now Wallace’s QB will be Ryan Tannehill instead of Ben Roethlisberger&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Lamar Miller&comma; RB<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Miller&comma; a fourth-round pick in 2012&comma; has the inside track on the starting job with the departure of Reggie Bush&period; As a rookie&comma; Miller rushed for just 250 yards&comma; though he averaged 4&period;9 yards per carry&period;  Miller showed his potential in week 16 against Buffalo&comma; leading the Dolphins in rushing with 73 yards on 10 carries&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Dustin Keller&comma; TE<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Keller had career highs in receptions &lpar;65&rpar;&comma; yards &lpar;815&rpar; and tied his career high in TDs &lpar;5&rpar; in 2011&comma; but only started five games in an injury-shortened 2012&period;  But unlike Wallace&comma; he figures to be moving to a better QB in Tannehill after leaving Mark Sanchez and the Jets&period; Keller was a first-round pick in 2008 and the first tight end selected&comma; drafted ahead of players such as Jermichael Finley&comma; Martellus Bennett and Fred Davis&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Ryan Tannehill&comma; QB<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Tannehill’s 3&comma;294 yards passing beat out fellow rookies Robert Griffin III and Russell Wilson&comma; but Tannehill threw for just 12 TDs and had 13 interceptions&period;  In his last five games&comma; however&comma; Tannehill threw for five TDs and only one INT&period;  With Wallace and potentially Keller&comma; the Dolphins have significantly upgraded Tannehill’s weapons&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Brian Hartline&comma; WR<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Hartline led the Dolphins in 2012 with 74 receptions for 1&comma;083 yards&comma; earning him a new five-year&comma; &dollar;31 million deal&period; But Hartline caught only one TD&period; He has just six career TD receptions&period; In Hartline’s first three seasons&comma; his best yardage total was 615&period; The Dolphins decided to make Wallace their new number one WR&comma; signing him to a contract twice as big as Hartline’s&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Daniel Thomas&comma; RB<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Thomas outgained Miller in 2012&comma; rushing for 325 yards with four TDs&comma; but he had three fumbles and averaged only 3&period;6 yards per carry&period; His career YPC is 3&period;5&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><b>Mike Gillislee&comma; RB<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Dolphins took Gillislee in the fifth round in 2013&period; He did not become a starter at Florida until his senior year&comma; when he rushed for 1&comma;152 yards with 10 rushing TDS and a 4&period;7 YPC&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To learn more about how to play in fantasy football money leagues&comma; check out what DraftStreet has to offer&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Jon Lewin writes on a variety of topics&comma; including fantasy football and fantasy baseball&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;
