Good news for the golf lovers in the New Orleans area! Series of new golfing events and tournaments are scheduled during September and October 2013.
Golf Classic of Mount Carmel Academy is going to occur on 23rd of this month as English Turn Country Club in Algiers. Interested persons can contact the respective authority in order to participate in the game. Registrations for team, individuals and corporate is now available. Sources informed that the format of tournament is scramble.
At the Royal Golf Club in Slidell, the Slidell Past Masters Club will arrange its 13th annual tournament on September 28. This scramble tournament of four-person will start 1pm onwards. It is stated by the sources that an individual golfer has to pay the sum of $70 and the four-man team requires paying $280 as the entry fee of the tournament.
On 30th September, a benefit tournament is arranged for the golf team of Loyola. It is reported that the tournament will take place at Lakewood Golf Club. It is announced that entry fee of the tournament that even includes a whole sponsorship is $800 for the team of four-person and for an individual golfer it is $150. Registration of the tournament will commence on 11 am of the same day.
Grand Ridge Golf Club will host the Grand Ridge Ladies Golf Association Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer benefit tournament. The tournament will take place in Luling. Relevant authority informed that the tournament would begin at 9 am on October 19. However, golfers interested to participate in the tournament will have to pay $40 as the charge of registration that will start at 8 in the morning of the same day.
On October 25, the great Plaquemines Parish Orange Festival Tournament will be held at Bayou Barriere Golf Club. The shotgun start will begin at noon while the registration will start at 11 am. Entry fee for a single player is $125 and for a foursome is $400.
Brynn Poe benefit tournament will be held at Bayou Barriere Golf Club on November 2. The same day registration will start at noon, an individual participant has to pay $100, and a foursome requires paying $300 as the registration fee.
Cox’s Mackel, which is a recreational golf championship in New Orleans, is scheduled on October 26 and 27 at Lakewood Golf Club. Organizers of the tournament informed that the exclusive 36-hole tournament is arranged especially for the amateur golfers around the New Orleans area.
