On several occasions, Israel has planned to attack the Iranian military. This was in the year 2010, 2011 and 2012 but several other matters became an object. In the year 2010, the strike was called off since there was no sign-off from the chief of staff’s and there was also the capability question.
In the year 2011, all the 11 ministers that were involved, two of them were in support of the attack but later changed their mind. After the current Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz who was the then Finance Minister and the current Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon who was the then Strategic Affairs Minister changed their minds, the military strikes were again called off. The following year, Israeli was supposed to attack again but it never came to be since there were scheduling conflicts. First it was postponed due to elections and then the date that it was rescheduled to, Israeli wasn’t comfortable.
The strikes are in connection with nuclear weapons. This is not the first time that Israel could have planned an attack against a country involved in nuclear weapons since back in the year 1981 in Operation
Opera, a nuclear facility was attacked in Iraq. Israel has not trusted any talks with Iran despite Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Iran’s Supreme Leader that religious convictions did not allow the nation to obtain any nuclear weapon.

As the investigations continued since no one really could officially identify ‘Vampire’, the authorities did their best to establish who he was and arrest him. He was identified as Herbert Maldonado who was in his early 30s and was said to be cohabiting with his 84 year old girlfriend. It was not the first time that he was on the wrong side of the law as per the reports. The 84 year old girlfriend said that Maldonado once seriously beat her.
