New Delhi: Bharti Airtel Chairman Sunil Mittal on Thursday met Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and sought reduce in taxes and levies for the sector, amid the “unparalleled” AGR crisis.

Mittal claimed Airtel is fully commited to complying with the Supreme Court docket buy on modified gross income (AGR) dues and asserted that the corporation will make harmony payment “expeditiously”.

“AGR is an unprecedented crisis for market, which is being dealt with by government,” he said.
